Is there any way improve the performance of the CRM SDK?
On a on-premises NLB CRM 2015U1 environment with CBA and IFD, the ratio of requests per minute is around 300.
For large batch processes it's really slow, and also reduces drastically the performance of CRM itself.
I don't have much experience with optimization of infrastructure but I would suggest to start from reading following posts:
What sort of requests are you doing? Is there some way you can optimize the way you are doing the calls?
If you have a ratio of 300/min, you're getting 5 per second and each call has a authentication so 200 ms per call is at least ok.
What you could be looking at is threading and executemultiple if you can use it for you application.
I will have a look at the scalability document, as I have not seen that before.
It is an import process used from SSIS.
Our current process needs to import around 700.000 records, and doing 5 per second is, at least, disappointing.
Does CRM has a configuration for the frontends to allow more concurrent connections?
You should be able to get noticeable speed improvements by:
Note that the performance differs depending on the record types. Contacts and accounts tend to be the slowest, as CRM puts data into related tables (e.g. customeraddress)
After several weeks trying to tune parameters, the performance is still the same -- or worse.
Next step is to install the CRM Performance Toolkit and measure the internal performance, and to install the Performance Analyzer to identify possible bottlenecks.
Hello every Body, I have the same problem of Andreas Calvo,
I'm currently uploading 1 milion of contacts records from SQL to CRM On-Premise via Kingsway Soft Toolkit
The process run slowly;
Any suggestion or performance tips ?
@Andreas: What About CRM Performance Toolkit ? was it Usefull to analyze and solve your performance issues?
CRM Perfomance Toolkit was a good example on how to do parallel batch updates, which helped to increase the ratio to about 400 inserts per minute.
Another things to look for were the RCSI and database isolation, that also helped to slightly improve the database access.
