I have a user who can't see the 'Close as Won' option on an Opportunity. This is evident in both the web and Outlook plugin views. Things I've checked (but would be willing to recheck):
Others users can see the 'Close as Won' option on the same Opportunities that it's missing for her. She states that it went missing a few months ago. I have a feeling it's something silly that I'm not checking, but after scouring the system settings, and online for the same problem for several hours, I can't determine why this is missing for her only.
I did have her check the Elipses (...) to make sure it just wasn't hiding in there. It wasn't. I've even done a screen share to verify that.
On number 2 and 4 this could be the problem. if she has more than one security role, it could be conflicting the security roles. if one role has more privileges than the other, the lower one might be over writing the other. Same thing for the Team roles.
One advice try to only have one security role and one team role. The security role should really have the same privileges as the Team
Thanks Damon. I'll give it a shot, though I had read that roles were inclusive instead of exclusive, meaning that the most permissive will take precedence.
That is correct it won't be the security roles, if there are no other users that have this issue. It would only be the case if you have an Visibility rule set on the button. Have you tried (Visual Ribbon Editor or Ribbon Workbench) to see if any rules exist.
