I'm facing one serious issue while performing Bulk edit in MS CRM 4.0
For Example: I have Entity A, in that there is one option set with three values (Achieved, Claim, Claimable). Whenever i changed the value from "Claim" to "Claimable" in bulk edit, after finishing when i looked the record , the value is revert back to "Claim".
There is update plugin also for the Entity A. What the reason behind this? Can anyone please help me to resolve this issue
Try to deactivate step of plugin and repeat your bulk edit again. If value is not reverted - that means that plugin causes your issue. If it is plugin - then just check sourcecode of plugin to find the reason why value is reverted. May be it works the way it should.
Thanks for the response. In my case, the business logic requires changing of status value from claimable to claimed which is written in that update plugin code and also the status is reverting to default value 'claimable' only after this plugin runs.
I confirmed this by seeing the custom audit setting which shows the status conversion is happening in one second after value changes from Claimable to Claimed. So deactivating the step will not helpful for my scenario. Is there any other reason for this.
Please let me know if I'm not clear
Miracles do not exist. If status changes then something does it.
Try to deactivate plugins, workflows, integration jobs that can change that field.
