I am attempting to enter leads that I captured at an event in both CRM 2011 and Online. I would like easily look up the attendees by the event in the future so I can see who attended the event, build emails from those listings, etc.
On your lead there must be a field called 'Source campaign', you can use it to identify.
Step 1: So first you need to go to marketing>>campaigns>>create a campaign of event type
Step 2: Enter your lead details on lead form, scroll to the end and there is a field called 'source campaign', type your event name here.
Let me know if you need to know anything else
Thank you, Prashant!
