We use Scribe to set up our integration from CRM to GP. The product in CRM (created via Quosal) is supposed to pass over and create the item in GP. Sometimes the sync fails because of an issue with the "Decimals Supported" field on the product, so the item never gets created in GP. If we update field on the product in CRM, the sync still does not work with GP and the item does not get created. If we try to just create the item separately in GP, there is no "link" to the corresponding product in CRM.
Is there a way to trigger a sync for a particular product so that it gets created in GP? Or find a way to link the item to the product if we create the item separately in GP? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You need to fix your CRM and GP systems so they are configured to support the same number of decimals on either currency or products. That or change your Scribe integration to do the transform between the two different system standards. The sync error should tell you which field is the culprit.
