I have a small managed solution (8mb) and I just can not get it installed. I am updated on all CRM 2011 updates (RU18). The upload goes to roughly 80% but then it seems to reset to 0 and does nothing and eventually cancels out.
You might want to take a look at the CRM logs: winows event log(to start with), server side logging (you'll have to enable it)..
But you might also want to just try to restart the CRM server quickly. Your solution is not exactly small, and I think it's 8MB because of the plugins - sometimes deploying those solutions too often may lead to the CRM server running out of memory..
Thanks Alex, The logs aren't telling me much at the time of the failure but I'll keep looking. Also it isn't 8mb (that is the size of the zip file) unzipped its ~54mb. The techs found an iscsi issue so once the servers come back up that might help!
This is my new error, which disk doesn't have enough space? I have 10GB free on the app server.

It seems to be trying to create a temporary file (CrmTemporaryFile) - how many disks do you have on the server? Maybe the one where CRM is installed has run out of space (although, apparently I'm just guessing.. if you have multi-server setup, could be some other disk as well)
Finally got over that but now i get these two errors:
