The Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Extended Support End Date is July 13th 2021.
However, the compatible SQL Server versions do not go this far as per support.microsoft.com/.../compatibility-with-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2011.
For example SQL Server 2008 R2 SP3 Extended Support End Date is July 9th 2019, and SQL Server 2012 SP1 Extended Support End Date is July 14th 2014.
What SQL Server version can I use that has an Extended Support date of July 13th 2021, or later and is compatible with The Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011?
I have contacted Microsoft on this, and whilst they confirmed the compatibility list is what they will use to validate if my CRM 2011 is supported, or not, therehas been no answer on the version of SQL Server that covers the Extended Support of CRM 2011.
Ideally, we'd want to use SQL Server 2012 SP3.
SQL Server 2012 SP3 definitely supported as we already using SQL Server 2012 SP3.
