I've added some custom fields to a Lead.
The field appears exactly as designed for different users around the company.
However, it doesn't appear for me (the developer).
I've checked security (I'm a System Admin, so it shouldn't be a problem), Teams aren't an issue either.
It's the exact same issue whichever browser I use (IE, Edge, Chrome, Firefox).
I could understand it more if I could see it, and others could not.
Has anybody experienced similar?
doesn't appear where? form when you open a record? form designer? advanced find? list of fields inside the solution?
It doesn't appear in the form. It appears if I preview, but not if I look at it in the normal process of working with the CRM.
look, fields do not appear to a user and appear to another user without a reason.
the visibility can affect the field itself, the section itself (if the section is hidden also the field is hidden) and the tab (same as the section)
Field Level Security can be excluded (as you are System Administrator you can see always) and if is the same form we can exclude forms assigned to different security roles.
Make sure you are opening the form where you added those fields.
In case of multiple forms and since you are System Admin, you have access to all forms. Switch between the forms on top of your record form.
I'd just come to that conclusion myself.
I couldn't see where I would change it in 2011 (I've not used that version until recently, and am far more experienced with 365)
