Is there a way by which i can hide the sign in page in crm portal so that everytime user is taken to the registration page first. Or is there a way by which i can change the portal behaviour to land on registration page instead of sign in page when i click Sign in. Any help would be much appreciated.
As far as I know, portals default page is home page not sign in page i.e. when you access your portal URL https://<your_portal_url>, it always takes you to home page firs. There you can add a logic to check if it the user is already logged in or not, if not redirect it to register page.
You can update the Home Page Web Template and add the below liquid syntax at the top-
Hi Ravi thanks for the quick response. Actually my requirement is i have a checklist page which gets redirected from an external url and on submitting the checklist it redirects to a webpage which requires authentication. On clicking submit from the checklist page it opens up the sign in page but instead i want to redirect the users to register page.
i got the solution from you above reply. I have been making it complicated i guess. On submission of that page i gave the above code and it work the way i expected. Thanks a lot for your help.
Then you need to implement changes on your check-list page. Could you plese share some more details on your check list page? Is it based on a web template or it is showing entity form, entity list.
Glad you got the solution :)
