I have created a custom entity and and created a record for the same. After that I have created a phonecall activity record and added regarding object (custom created entity) in this record.
Then I go to the record I found my custom record is visible in phone call activity record but it is not linkable to (As I expected it is linkable like account or conatct etc).
What should I do enable this feature for custom entity also.

I have perform all the things you mentioned its works for me
1) Create New Entity and Create a record inside that
2) Then Create a Phone Call with new field Regarding which is a lookup field of new_entity which I created .
3) Then Go to New Entity Record Click on Related Tab. you can see that Like below scrrenshot
If I am not wrong What you find is exactly what I explain

What do you mean with "but it is not linkable to"? When you go to the related records of your custom entity, you don't see the Phone Call activity there?
Regarding filed of phone call activity record attached custom created entity record is not linkable
Custom created new entity record is linkable from phone call activity record list on Regarding column.
But when we select a phone call activity the from Regarding field attached custom created entity record is not linkable.
In case of Account, Contact etc are linkable even I select a phone call activity record.
Ok so did you set you entity to have Activities? You must go to your entity definition settings and set that (if you haven't) by going to Settings --> Customizations --> Entities --> [Click on you custom entity] --> Click on "Activities"
As Joana Already mentioned to check that activities . Do you need a timeline in your form of custom Entity as Account and Contact Have?
