When an email is tracked in Outlook to D365 the email is marked as completed. we need it left open or in any status other than completed.
How can we achieve this?
What is your business case? It is completed as it's an email that has been sent/received, it's happened therefore complete, unlike a task for example that you have to do something next week, you'd manually mark that as complete when you complete it.
Open Email means Draft. Received/Sent Email means completed.
By any chance, do you want to track a Draft email - thats not what the requirement or expected behavior is going to be.
Either you need a Task entity record or Appointment record.
Need it to be open for an attachment extractor(AttachmentExtractor by mscrm-addons.com) to run.
