When I sync from Outlook to CRM, nothing hapeens. If I add a contact in outlook, shouldn't it sync with crm and I see it in Sales Contacts?
Yes it dows Sync . In outlook goto CRM-> Options and then goto the Synchronization tab check if the
Set this computer to be the synchronizing clint and Synchronize the CRM utems in my Outlook folders ticked .
A contact will not automatically go from Outlook to CRM. This is to stop your golf buddies and personal friends ending up in the corporate system. You can make it go across by selecting the contact and hitting the tracking button in the CRM toolbar in Outlook. If it is easier, a contact created in CRM, assuming you haven't changed the sync rules, will automatically sync to Outlook.
