Can anyone help me with custom workflow for creating case based on incoming email and set the fields based on the email body.
like the account field in case,related contact and some other lookup fields.

The best way to do that is using OOB functionality using rules, really it reduce lot of the time creating your own workflows for this propouse, when you create the case using this option the process populate by default some fields as account contact using the channel information from email, in case you need populate other fields you can add them, but the main fields to create case was done by this process.

Thanks for the reply.But we had requirement to check conditions and to set different fields based on the email body.
