this is the entity view page.
In this page, I want to click the name or the row to open a custom web resource, not the default fuction to open the form view.
is it possible?
It will not be possible to customize primary field link to open cutom web resource.
Workaround is to create new custom field of type Single line of text URL and write plugin code to auto populate that field value with your custom web reosurce URL.
Once user click on that field value it will open your custom web resource.
You can use a Retrieve Multiple plugin to update the sub grid name URL.
Or have an OnLoad function in entity form load. So when you click on the name, it will load the entity form which will call your web resource, only caveat is it will have the form in the background.
Or create a new field of URL type. Use Calculated Type and update the field with proper URL Modify the view to show this field instead of the name
Hope this helps
You can achieve it by modifying the default click event of the entity list. you can follow the below link for reference:
It seems impossible by Dynamics default function, but you can do it by customizing and developing plug-in.
I recommend you to raise a support ticket if you need further support for customization.
