The installation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 completed successfully, and then when installing CRM Reporting extensions setup, i encountered error during the system checks.
and it says that my environment checks is error :
Unable to validate SQL Server Reporting Services Report Server installation. Please check that it is correctly installed on the local machine.
I dont understand the error, because I have already Installed the SQL Reporting Services along with SQL Server 2012 installation.
Check below links wich might be helpful.
Thanks for the reply.
I saw that suggestion before, but i thought maybe it's not related ?
because i'm installing CRM Extensions, and not CRM Connector for SSRS
Anyway, maybe i'll try that solution later and update what i found

I've tried to do as the link said.
But could you please advise about the install-config.xml ?
as i couldn't find a xml that named install-config
In this path "C:\Install CRM 2011\Server\amd64\config"
i found this "install.xml" file (not "install-config.xml"), is that the right one to copy and edit ?
It only contains :
<release version="5.0.9688.583" progress_range="100" location="5.0\configrelease.xml"/>
and i added these below of the <release> tag :
<Patch update="true">C:\Install CRM 2011\Server\amd64\SrsDataConnector\SRS_ENU_amd64.MSP</Patch>
And run the installation using cmd line, but i got an error.
as i saw in the log, it said :

Is that install.xml not the right one ? if yes, then which file should i use :(
During the installation when you see the report server URL page copy the URL and paste it in browser and verify if t=it is accessible or not. If not open SSRS configuration wizard and reconfigure the service and copy the URL. Next time you run the CRM installation manually put this URL into the SSRS url box.
is this what you mean by report server URL ? (this is from SSRS which i have already installed)
Fortunately , i have take a screenshot of this when i was installing the CRM Server, so i can show you the screenshot below.
Is below the URL that you mentioned should be the same as the one above ?
But i dont have any error during the installation for the CRM Server, i only struglling with the installation of CRM Report extensions now.do i have to reinstall the CRM Server ? or is there any way i could do to edit the URL to match with the SSRS URL above ?
Are you able to browse the URL mentioned in the 2nd screenshot? if not then try the URL present in the first screenshot .
I could browse both of the URLs.
(SSRS and CRM)
I think it's not the URL problem, as i also saw other people setting with different URL too and it's working.
If you have any other ideas, please lemme know..
i think what you mean should be the same URL is between the web service URL and CRM one.
It's the same, which is below url :
So url seems not to be the problem here, since it already the same.
But the CRM Report Extensions still error :(
Please help me anybody, i'm quiet urgent for this CRM Reporting extension installation
Is it because i have Domain Controller for the active directory in the same computer ?
Btw i was installing CRM 2011 with SQL Server Reporting Services 2012.. is it compatible ? because it seems cannot find the Reporting Services
After days of struggling.
I tried to install the SQL Server 2008R2 (installed the SQL Server Engine, Reporting Services, and management), i configured another instance name for this SQL Server 2008 Installation.
After that i tried to install this CRM Reporting Extensions again, and the error was no more (although im still using the instance from the previously installed SQL Server 2012 one).
I dont know why , but it seems this environment check error solved.
anybody have a thought of why ? it's for my reference for the future..
Thanks very much
