Quick question. Now that Dynamics has a TDS endpoint and that we can now query CDS data using SQL. What options are available if I want to schedule daily copies of certain CDS tables into another SQL server?
It'll be our own SQL server and not an Azure cloud one.
Assuming it can be done with an SSIS package? Is there any documentation or articles on ways we can utilize TDS to copy data to another SQL server?
Hello, I recommend you to read this example that explain step by step and also some limitations or possible errors that you could face in the process: powerobjects.com/.../
And to schedule the process, I think that doing a Job process it should work.
I hope it helps!

Thanks dude. I've already got access to the TDS endpoint and can query data from SSMS.
As I'm not a database admin, I'm just wondering whether it's possible to use the TDS endpoint to select into another SQL server?
