Can the disqualification area provide a description box to detail why the lead is being disqualified in addition to selecting an option from the list?
Hope you are well.
AFAIK, this is by design:
You can insert the qualify/disqualify reason.
Eventually you could work with an automation (plugin, workflow, flow) to add further info, however, need extra development effort.
At my firm, we created a service request that the sales person has to use to disqualify a lead. We also created a custom field for why the lead is being disqualified that is under the administration section of the lead record. When the sales guys go through the service request, it asks them the reason. Whatever they enter there gets memorialized in that custom field (locked field). Once they do that, they can use the preset option to actually disqualify it. We will likely write in an automated step to the workflow that disqualifies (deactivates) the lead automatically once they enter their info.
