We have several Views on different entities that were created by users who are no longer with the company. How can I delete them when they did not give the users who can see the Views the ability to delete or re-assign them?
It would seem like directly modifying SQL would be the only route to go.
Deletion from the SQL directly is an option but it could lead to issues in places where those views might be referenced like Personal Charts and or Dashboards and create orphan records if those views were shared with other users/teams.
I would recommend developing the console app that will impersonate on behalf of the deactivated user and delete the view.
