We recently updated from 10.0.40 to 10.0.42 and I have noticed that the General Ledger Parameter 'Auto Sales Tax Search', Tax Group Default Rules and the Call Center Defaults table for Sales Tax Groups have all been removed.
That being said, our prior configurations all appear to be functioning still as I created new addresses and the Sales Tax Group was defaulted in each case.
Is anyone else experiencing this or knows what the reason for this was?

Thanks Jonas.. thats unfortunate. Dose anyone know if the Tax Calculation Service will default Sales Tax Groups on customer addresses? Also just realized that the Tax Calculation Service data model dose not include any address values for County which would then not meet these requirements for states like NY or LA where you need Sales Tax Groups at the County / Parish level.

It has been hidden since 10.0.41 by a flight that's called 'RetailHideAutoSalesTaxGroupSearchFlight'. You can ask Microsoft Support to disable the flight. Functionality is still there, but the question is will this functionality be removed at some point.
As for the reason I don't recall. My assumption is that it will be replaced by Tax Calculation, but don't quote me on that.
