We are on an on-premises instance of D365 Finance and Operations and on the old MRP engine (not planning optimization).
Generally MRP takes about 2 and a half hours, but it's been creeping up slowly to 4 hours.
One consistent fix is we make a customization package that we deploy periodically, and without fail, that causes MRP to go back to taking 2 and a half hours for a while.
On the surface, I think if we just deployed our latest customization package again it would fix the problem, but it is a band-aid solution and I also haven't tested that theory as of yet.
Is there some other steps to conduct that doesn't involve re-deploying a package?
