Hi,

I have a question. Why is the "SecurityResourcePrivilegePermissions" table not visible in the AOT (Application Object Tree) but its visible in SQL database? What is the reason for this, and how can I make this table visible in the AOT?

could someone help me in this?

Thanks & regards,
Rabiarizwana

    Hi Rabiarizwana,

As mentioned by Martin, some tables are managed in the SQL database only. This is for security and consistency reasons. There are dlls available that can interact with the security model between the user interface and the SQL tables.
E.g. the form SysSecRelatedObjects has an option to copy information into temporary tables. You can check the X++ coding how this is being achieved.

There are quite a few kernel tables that aren't intended for direct consumption by X++ developers and aren't exposed in AOT at all. There is nothing you can do about it; you could only ask Microsoft to change the design.
