Send an email to PO submitter if the PO is under review for specific amount of time

Hi All,

We have a PO workflow with multiple approval levels. Is there a way to send an email to the PO submitter if the PO remains under review for a specific amount of time, regardless of which approver it is with?

Though it include all types of pending approval and not only for PO.

Hi Mark,

Are you aware with the setup of escalation path? Once you define the time limit for approval of work item, it will escalate the workflow, and send the notifications (if you setup the email, then it will go through email).

At every step, you can have escalation path.

Let us know if you require further assistance in setting up escalation path and notifications.

Thank you for your reply.

We have multiple approval levels in the workflow. Does that mean I need to add escalation at every approval level? Also, what will happen once it’s escalated?

Our goal is to send an email notification to the submitter if the PO remains In Review for a specific amount of time, regardless of which approval level it is currently at.
