As i will work with external system via the REST API to do data exchange, may i know the below encryption methods to be supported in D365?

PGP Encryption
AES256 Encryption

If yes, please provide me some samples how to do it.

If no, please advise which encryption can be used.

Please advise which encryption methods are supported

You can use almost any .NET Framework library, therefore there isn't any fixed set of encryption algorithms you can use. If something was missing, you could simply add a library that can do that.

One of libraries that is already available in F&O is BouncyCastle. In its documentation, you can find a list of supported algorithms.
