Hi All, Two lines are showing in General Journal Lines in Business Central without a Journal Template Name and without a Journal Batch Name. Because of this, we are unable to access these lines from the front end, and they are only visible in the General Journal Line table (Table ID 81).
We need to delete these lines, but we are unable to do so through the standard interface.
Can anyone guide us on how these orphan journal lines can be deleted by any possible method?”
It might be a customization issue. You can use a Configuration Package to resolve this.
Enable the Delete Table Records Before Processing option on the package lines, then export the data to Excel. Remove the unwanted lines from the Excel file and import the package again. This will delete all existing records and reinsert only the records present in the Excel file, so the removed lines will not be reinserted.
Make sure to take a backup and ensure that no users are working on the system during this process.
