Dears Dynamics 365 Community,

I have about 4 transaction in posted transactions in a project that have different values in their vouchers,

for example;

In the posted transaction, you may have 100$ as the cost amount, but when checking it from its voucher, we found it 240 $.

Any answers?

Also, I checked all the below, and it did not work :

Currency Differences
Adjustments and Corrections
Rounding Differences

Categories:

Dynamics 365 Finance

Hi,
Can you provide more details about the origin of these project transactions? Were they posted using the Beginning Balance journal?

Please also verify if the cost price, quantity, and cost amount have been calculated correctly.

After investigating the case, it happened just if we made a packing slip after the invoice has a retention !

Any parameter for that ?

e.g. 285 instead 300 , Please find the picture below :

I don't have experiences with retention in implementations myself. I'm not sure about this process and intended postings. Maybe there can be even a bug in the application. Is this happening every time in case of a retention or was it one time only?

Hi Mohammad,

I thought to setup my environment with a reproduction scenario, but I didn't find the time and will probably not get the time in the coming weeks. I would suggest contacting Microsoft Support and let them check if this is a bug.
