Package Tracking No, Marked for Removal

Hello Community,

I faced an issue while customizing one of the reports in Business Central. When using the Package Tracking No field, it is highlighted with the warning "Marked for Removal."
I updated the application to the latest version, but the warning still persists. Could someone guide me on how to resolve this or suggest an alternative approach?

To add more information, this change is scheduled for V27 (October 2025), assuming the current plan remains unchanged.

    Hello,

There is a list of all modifications for 24.0 and I do not think that MS will remove this field entirely, but just modify number of characters like it is said.

I hope this will clarify situation with Package Tracking No.

    Greetings

The length of the "Package Tracking No." field is changing from Text[30] to Text[50] in coming BC versions. This warning is a notification to mind the change and make sure the related code can deal with 50 characters instead of 30. As long as your code can accept 50 characters, you can use this field without issues.
