Create package containing few specific objects in a model

Hi,

I want to create a deployable package containing only few objects from a specific model.

I want to discuss and get suggestions on the approach. For eg. Model name is "MYModel"

Shall I create another Model "MYModelFeatureRelease" and move objects to this model and select this model while creating package. And then later when I am ready to create package of all objects in MYModel, I can move the objects from "MYModelFeatureRelease" to "MYModel". In this case will there be any issues if still include the "MYModelFeaturerelease" in the package with 0 objects instead of removing it through ModlesToRemove.txt

What is the best practice of creating package to include a model which contains new objects where some are ready to release while others aren't?'

Thanks.
