This relates to Dynamics 365 Field Service.

Hi!

We sell single or multi year service agreements where the customer wants a single invoice up front and they want the invoice generated before the start date of the contract so that they can pay before the start date.

example: $50,000 in total Agreement term: 1/1/2025 - 12/31/2026 Need is to generate invoice 11/5/2024 and customer intends to pay by 12/5/2024.

As an organization we have to be able to bill in advance, and we can't be the only ones out there...

This sounds like you want an Agreement with an Invoice Setup that creates the invoice at a certain date?

Sounds like you need an Agreement, an Invoice Setup, and then after saving the Invoice Setup click "Invoice Recurrence" where you define that it runs yearly on a certain date:
