We've upgraded one of or AP people to Office 365 from 2013. We did the work around to keep Outlook from nagging about a program is trying to send an email message on your behalf.
Now, the next issue is that when they do the AP remittances, out of a batch of 4, it only sent 2 emails. We tested with another batch of 3 remittances and it only sent 2 of those. We've checked and the vendors do have email setup for them. This wasn't a problem on Outlook 2013.
On another computer, currently on Office 2019 works fine. Could this be related to Office 365?
Anyone else see anything similar or know of a fix?
Another long-term option might be to look at another add-in to do all of the sending. The emailing through GP has been so buggy I've never used it. Have been using Rockton Software's Dynamics Report Manager to eliminate all of the Report Writer reports and the Word Templates and replaced them with SSRS reports.
This also doesn't have to deal with MFA or anything with emailing. It uses the SMTP server you get with MS365 -- the yourorg.mail.protection.outlook.com domain and it emails everything through that. Never had an issue.
Just a couple of thoughts for you.
