Unable to load receipt from laptop into Expense Management (D365)

Hi 
 
Unable to load a file into Expense Management module in D365.
 
Error message: Upload of file failed. Unsupported file storage location. (from my documents)
 
.... it was working before the Christmas break.

    Can you tell us if this is a production or other type of environment? Was there any recent change in this environment? Are you able to upload the receipt in other environments? Do you have this issue with other uploads as well, e.g. attachments to records via document management?

    Hi,
    From your error message it seems that you are trying to upload the PDF and that file type is not correct; could be for two possible reasons.
    1) file type PDF not allowed in your system for upload (check permitted file types from settings of documents)
    2) Your system allows PDF uploads, but you have selected a file for upload which is not PDF (although name ends with PDF), makes sure correct file type is selected for upload.
