So the Dynamics 365 WYSIWYG inserts CONTENT into an HTML frame, so when an email is sent the content I enter into the WZYWYG is only a portion of what is being sent of the whole email and I have no control over the headers, styling, tables of actual framework of the email, just the content in the box. The recommendation is to open the html email in a browser and copy it and past that into the WYSIWYG. But this ONLY GETS THE CONTENT. and when I do tests on this email against Litmus, the email looks absolutely terrible in most renders. So how can I actually edit the HTML of the email template so that I control the entire email body not just the content box??
In Dynamics 365, the built-in WYSIWYG editor only lets you edit the email body content, not the full HTML template (headers, styles, tables). To fully control the entire email HTML:
Create and design your full HTML email outside Dynamics 365 using an HTML editor or email design tool.
Then, import the full HTML as a custom email template using the Email Template editor that supports raw HTML.
Alternatively, use Power Automate or third-party tools to send emails with your full custom HTML.
The default email editor doesn’t allow full HTML template edits, so importing or custom sending is the way to go for full control and better rendering.
