Warning for not enough of a component?

If I have a BOM attached to an item and I create a Production Order for that item: Is there a way to show a warning or notification that we do not have enough of a component?

    Yun is correct, there is no out of the box functionality that does this.

    Hi, as far as I know, it requires simple customization. Hopefully the information below can give you some hints.
