    Hello Ajay-007,

Since you are currently logged into your apps, you have a unique advantage to verify your identity and update your security info from within your active sessions.

Access Security Settings via Active Session

Open Microsoft Edge or go to office.com where you are already signed in. Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner and select My Microsoft Account or View Account. Navigate to the Security tab and select Update Info or Advanced Security Options. Since you are already in an active session, the system may let you add a new recovery option or update your password directly without requiring the old one.

    Check Saved Passwords in Edge

Since you are logged into Microsoft Edge, your password might be saved in the browser credential manager. Open Edge, go to Settings, then Profiles, and click on Passwords. Search for your Microsoft or Outlook account and click the eye icon to reveal the password.

    Wait Out the Lockout Period

The automated recovery form and sign-in pages often trigger a temporary 24-hour lockout after too many failed attempts. Stop trying to use the recovery form for a full 24 hours to let the security flag clear.

    Office License Verification

Do not log out of your Office apps or OneDrive, as your license remains active as long as the session is live. If the account is a work or school account, you can bypass the recovery form entirely by contacting your organization's IT Admin to reset your password from the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

    Best regards,
