    I don't think this is related to Customer Experience (CRM etc), but more an ERP system like Business Central or D365 F&O.
    Am I correct?

    OK - so to post this one you need to press the distribution button (bottom right) on the transactions in Cash receipt entry and enter the GL account to be used by the Credit Card...  (I am assuming you selected type of Credit card on the cash receipt)
     
    But to fix it for future you need to check the Credit Card setup: Left bottom navigation bar > Administration > Setup > Company >Credit Cards
