Position Management / Worker Assignment

HI,
 
I created a new position and hired a worker against it, but the position is still showing as vacant. What could be the reason?

    When you create the position in HR module you should also go to the detail tab and assign the worker with effective date post that it will show the position on worker

    Creating a worker and hiring them does not assign a position, please check the effecive date. once it's done position will be changes in worker.

    The worker and the position are two distinct records.  After you hire the worker and create the position, you must assign the worker to the position.  You can do that on the employee record, under the positions tab.  You can also do this under the position record as well.
