I developed business event with Power automate. The requirements was, once Sales order has been confirmed in D365FO, we should send the notification to the external system.
So, here my question is
1.Is in SalesFormLetter_confirmation, is update() is the right method to confirmation posting? I mean shall I call Business event trigger after this. I mean
Extension of Sales form letter _confirmation
next update ()
// Business event trigger
2. What BusinessEvents::sendBusinessEvent(); does? Is it do the publishing custom business event in business event catalog.
