    Hi!
Just wanted to check up on this thread.
Did you manage to get it working?

Saw your edit. You should use an EDT for the return type with a label, such as description

The class you need to modify/extend is the PurchTableDocument class.

You can identify the document class of an existing workflow by looking at the workflow type in the AOT. In this case, PurchTableTemplate

Edit: I'm not able to reply. You need to use an EDT with a label, not the basic STR type

I saw this solution before but I still don't know which workflow document class is related to purchase order workflow approval, or I just create the class which only extend WorkflowDocument and it will apply to all my workflows?

    Edit:

Am I doing it right? because it doesn't show at placeholders list

    Hi,

Otherwise have a look in the standard application (Classes implementing WorkflowDocument).

EDIT: Same procedure in AX2012 and D365 F&O
