General rebate group/trade agreements for sales quotations/orders

Hi.

Is it possible to have a general rebate group or trade agreement that can be used across every customer when we need to? These rebates must not be in conflict with any standard trade agreement every customer is linked to.

E.g.

We generate a sales quotation that is over 1mill and we want to use a rebate structure that gives a customer a higher rebate per item than the trade agreement that is linked to this customer on a daily basis.

In our last system we used severeal of these rebate groups for 1mill, 2mill, 5mill and so on.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Thanks for your question. You can create price/discount groups and link trade agreements to them without having these groups as default on a customer. On a sales order, you can change the price and discount groups on the sales order header. When applicable, you can choose your 1mill, 2mill, 5mill, or other group.
This is not automatically selected. If you have that requirement, it would be possible to achieve it with a customization.

Yes, this is possible, but it depends on how your trade agreements and rebate priorities are configured. A common approach is to create a separate trade agreement or rebate group for high-value quotations (for example, over $1M) and assign it a higher priority than the standard customer agreement. This allows the special rebate to apply without permanently changing the customer's default pricing. Be sure to test the pricing and rebate evaluation sequence to avoid conflicts.
