VSCODE and Bound Action

I want to create a Bound Action but having a hard time understanding exactly how to do it.

I think you need to create one in vscode first then publish to BC.

What I don't understand is do I then need to create a launch.json and if so

what should the various fields look like:

example: would it look like a table that you would launch?

"startupObjectId": 22, "startupObjectType": "Page",

"startupObjectId": 22,
"startupObjectType": "Page",

Hi, It seems that you are a beginner in AL Language. All AL projects have a launch.json file, which is the setting to connect to the development environment.

Hi Keith,

Are you referring to Bound actions associated with API Pages?

if yes then you will have to create the API Page and create Bound action attached to it.

You can refer standard API Pages to see how microsoft is creating Bound Actions.
