Yes, outbound marketing interaction data will remain available in the CI Journeys storage.
For contacts and leads, the plan is to unify the insights and show both OBM and RTM data together in the coming months. Today, you can switch between the different tabs to view data from OBM and RTM.
When outbound functionality is deprecated or removed from Dynamics 365, Microsoft typically provides guidance on how to retain access to your data.
Before the functionality is removed, you can export your interaction data. Dynamics 365 allows you to export data to Excel or other formats, which can then be stored securely for future reference.
P.S. Ensure that your data retention policies are aligned with your regulatory requirements. This might involve setting up automated processes to regularly back up your data.
1. Do we get to see Outbound Insights per Contact? We need to keep our communication records for 7 years, per regulation.
2. In Marketing Emails > Insights - do we get to view interaction history? We use this often to inform our decision on copy-writing style / button placement / subject line /send time etc.
3. Outbound Journeys - we use this to work out what was sent in the past.
