Hello Dear Expert Community

Is there a simple way once in the Lines menu in a Journal Batch to copy a line to the next line? Ie can I COPY one line to a new line to avoid the pain of creating new lines or can I duplicate a line which is the same thing?

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,
Savvas

Noob Question for a Journal Shortcut
    Hey,

I agree with the suggestion of using the excel add in.

    Just a general hint:

In case you are "reusing" the same lines over a period. Consider working with Periodic journals.
You can create journals here, that function as a template.

In the general journal you can retrieve the lines from these journals.

    Kind regards, Adis

    Hi,
An Excel add-ins functionality is the best for your requirement.

    Hi Savvas,

No questions are noob questions, all questions are awesome (-:
I'm not 100% sure of where you are in the application, but I think you are in a general journal voucher.

There are no good ways to copy a line in ledger journals, unfortunately. My best advice is to use Excel to do the manipulation.
You can do it by clicking on the Office icon on the upper right, and then select "General journal line entry"
