Year end reversing entry not showing under current inquiry window

We are experiencing issues with a reversing entry that was posted to the closed year of 2024. This entry is not appearing in the inquiry detail or summary window for 2025. While the roll forward of balances is correct, the balance for January 2025 is inaccurate due to this entry not being reflected.

It is possible that January was not open when the journal was posted. The attached images illustrate the current state of the tables.

Is a method to correct this?

UGH. that year in GL20000 should not be zero. What is the period on that transaction? Also that entry in 2025 should not be in GL30000.

I would try to reverse the close in a TEST company and see if it looks better. if so - then reclose in the TEST company. and check again.

This is a new one on me...

There period was 1 as we reversed it 1/1/25 and unfortunately we have asked our IT department to give us a test company but they have yet to provide that for us to test anything. I can only have them create back ups for us and test it that way but are you saying to reverse the close of 2024 and then reprocess the close?
