I'm having trouble configuring Visual Studio for Unified Development. I go through all the initial steps with no problem, but when I connect to Power Platform and it starts downloading Finance and Operations assets I get a message that "NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE" needs full control to the Dynamics365 folder.
I have granted all the required permissions, but the result is the same all the time.
Can anyone help?
Visual Studio configuration problem for Unified Development
Hi Shooowtek,
I didn't install SQL server locally. Then it will use a LocalDB anyway. Maybe the user/service account used for SQL express needs additional folder permissions.
Visual Studio configuration problem for Unified Development
Hello Andre,
Yes, of course. I have Visual Studio open as administrator.
Perhaps the cause is in my local SQL database, since I installed SQL Expres? This would be strange because one of the first messages says:
"Validated that SQL Server Express LocalDB is up and running with windows authentication enabled for user." Then all the files are downloaded and unzipped. Unfortunately the final error message says as in my first post.
