Entity Form Timeline Notes are being Overwritten

Hello,

I noticed in an entity form that the date and time of notes in the timeline are being overwritten when changes are made to certain fields in the form.

For example, this timeline contains two notes which were added on October 4, 2024 at 12:39 PM.

After changing the value of a lookup field in the respective form, the dates and times that the notes were added were overwritten with the date and time that the lookup value was changed.

Original:

Modified:

This lookup field was changed at 12:53 PM. As a result the notes are shown to have been modified at this time, and the original date and time has been overwritten.

If a different user performed this action then it would also display the notes as being modified by someone else even though only the lookup field was changed.

I am wondering if there is a way to disable this because I would like to be able to see the original date and time that the note was added to the timeline.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Scott Parks

    Hello User,

You can try to modify the timeline card form for notes. Refer below article which will help you to implement your requirement.
