Group inventTrans records by month with X++

Hello everyone,

I need to be able to group item inventory receipt transactions by month. In SQL, this is not complicated using group by and month(), but in X++ there is no month clause, so I haven't found an alternative to do it. I have checked several forums and haven't come across similar problems. Any possible solution is welcome.

Group inventTrans records by month with X++

Which version of AX are you using? If it's AX 2012 or F&O (which has a different forum), you can create a view with a computed column returning the month number (using the month() SQL function). Then you'll simply group by this computed column.
