
Both last week and this week I have experienced the same issue with Business Central on two separate occasions.
While actively working in BC, I will suddenly find that menu options at the top of the screen stop responding. When I click a menu item, nothing happens. I try again, wait several seconds, and continue trying different menu options, but BC does not respond. At that point it appears either frozen or no longer recognizing my clicks.
What's unusual is that this happens while I am actively working in BC. It is not occurring after being away from the application for an extended period or after switching between other programs such as Excel. The issue occurs unexpectedly during normal use.
When this happens, I close the browser and restart my computer. However, when I log back into Business Central, all of my personalized settings are gone. Rebuilding those personalizations takes a significant amount of time—about a week to restore the primary menus and submenus, with additional personalizations often being discovered and recreated over the following weeks.
Unfortunately, this happened again within the last half hour, and I am once again having to rebuild my personalizations from scratch.
Any ideas?
