Cash flow forecast based on expense entries in past periods

Hi all,

We know that in AX it is possible to generate cash flow entries based on purchase orders, sales orders, budget models and also based on the forecast models in the inventory module. I have tried these.

But one of your clients, expects AX to forecast cash flow (out movement) based on expense entries (general journal entries) posted in past periods.

Is this possible in AX?

Can we generate cash flow forecast entries based on general journal entries for expenses posted in the past periods?

Thanks for the information and support in advance.

Regards

Sriram

    Hello Sriram,

The transactions that you entered in your GL journals, do they have an invoice number recorded in the invoice field and are they posted against a customer/vendor?

If this is the case then those transactions should be picked up by the cash flow calculation process.

If this is not the case here, can you provide us more details about the transactions that you recorded?

What kind of transactions are these?

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig
