New look does not show selected option set value

Hi,
 
When I have the new look turned on and I select a value from the choice field dropdown, the functionality of show/ hide and all work as expected but the options set field displays the default value and not the value that was selected.
It loads correctly when the new look is off.
 
Any ideas on what can be the cause and how can I solve it.
