The client operates across multiple countries, with development activities spanning several legal entities. The D365 is already live, while others are scheduled for global rollouts in the future.
As part of these rollout activities, significant application development and customization are currently underway. Following development, changes are promoted through multiple environments, including SIT, UAT, Pre-Production, and finally the Production environment.
The client requires frequent Production deployments often on a monthly basis to support the rollout schedule. However, a key challenge is that the client operates a 24/7 business and does not permit extended downtime. Additionally, deployments to the user layer are restricted.
Given these constraints, is it possible to deploy code changes to Dynamics 365 Zero downtime or with minimal business disruption?
Has anyone had positive experiences implementing deployment strategies for large international clients under similar circumstances? If so, could you share the approach, best practices, or procedures that were followed?
I would really appreciate any insights or recommendations.
Thanks!
