I have a question regarding the licensing model for Asset Management capacity.
According to the Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide (March 2026), asset capacity is defined as follows.
My question is: Which types of assets actually consume asset capacity?
For example, if I have 500 parent assets and 1'000 child assets, do I need asset capacity for 1'500 assets in total, or is only the number of parent assets relevant (i.e. requiring capacity for 500 assets)?
